Learning Assistance
All children have their own Individual Learning Plan, which is part of our school report to parents.
Each child's Individual Learning Plan has been set up to specifically address that child’s needs and to challenge them further.
Extension classes have been effectively implemented with successful results, and offer children the extra assistance they may need in all areas of the curriculum, with the main focus on Literacy and Numeracy.
They may include:
- Regular contact between home and school
- Reading Recovery
- Gifted and Talented workshops
- Teacher Aide support
A Welfare Co-ordinator offers a comprehensive and integrated program for students who are at risk academically, have behavioural problems, or who are disengaged from school.
