Ararat North Primary School is a modern open planned school located in the northern area of Ararat, a small rural city approximately 200 kilometres west of Melbourne on the Western Highway.
The school serves a number of families within the township and from outlying areas to the north and east of the city.
The school’s buildings and grounds provide a welcoming learning setting. The main school building is an attractive open plan design comprising of six learning areas surrounding a library and art room. The school has a canteen, multi purpose hall, administration area and Kindergarten and Occasional Care Centre. Native gardens provide adequate space and shade for all students. A rebound ace tennis, basketball and netball court area is complimented by high quality outdoor play equipment.

Through a government grant, the school can offer members of the local community access to the internet through the school system, both during and outside school hours. Free internet access is available to everyone through the neighbourhood house by contacting the office.
