Parents Association
A Community Room has been set up for all parents and the wider community. It is a welcoming environment which offers the use of computers and the internet, a support network, a play-group area for pre-school children, tea and coffee and the chance to meet other parents. Everyone is welcome to come in, sit down and have a good look around.
The Parent Association is currently in recess. Extra opportunities for parents to meet and discuss programs or issues are advertised in the newsletter.
Breakfast Program
Ararat North offers free breakfast to any child every school morning. The breakfast menu offers a wide range of cereals, toast, fruit juice and milk.
With the support of The Save the Children Fund and Baker's Delight we are able to provide the most important meal of the day. The Breakfast Program operates under the supervision of a coordinator and is held in the school’s hall.
Canteen
The Canteen depends upon the generosity of our parents in preparing and serving lunches. If you could help on any day that suits you, please contact the school office.
We offer a fantastic range of hot, cold and healthy foods at extremely reasonable prices. The canteen operates under the supervision of a co-ordinator.
Fundraising
A fundraising co-ordinator is appointed by the Parent's Association or School Council. Fundraising is vital to assist parents with costs related to school and kindergarten. Lot's of fun activities that encourage community spirit are co-ordinated through our fundraising efforts.
