Foundation (Prep) Enrolments

The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Ararat North Primary School.

Term 4 Kinder to School Transition Program

Each year children are invited to attend the Ararat North Primary School kinder to school transition program.

The aim of the transition program is for students to:

• experience routine at Primary School
• be positive and happy about starting school
• meet other students
• meet the teachers

The transition program also enables new families to come in and experience the educational opportunities and facilities our small school can provide.
